Top 15 RB Kylin Hill Joins Mississippi State 2017 Recruiting Class

The Bulldogs 2017 class continues to take significant shape adding another key piece on Wednesday in running back Kylin Hill.
Hill, regarded as a national Top 15 running back, was a big difference maker for Columbus High School in 2015 running for 1,750 yards with 18 scores off 201 carries. Showing great talent as an all-purpose back, Hill added 336 yards in the passing game off 21 receptions with three more scores.
As the Falcons posted an 8-4 mark during the 2015 season, college coaches liked what they saw in Hill. Not only could Hill be an impact player as a running back but also on special teams where he returned three kicks for 202 yards with a touchdown long of 84 yards ending the year with two total kicks taken back to the house.
Hill has reported offers from Ole Miss, Tennessee, Oregon State, Memphis, Missouri, UAB, Southern Miss, and Nebraska. Both Ole Miss and Mississippi State have been recruiting Hill since July of 2015 with MSU offering on June 12 and Mississippi on July 18. Through the 2015 season, Hill made several unofficial visits to Starkville and continued the trend into 2016 with visits on Jan. 30, March 8, and May 7.
The decision made news via a post on Twitter reading “No questions” followed by a commitment statement reading:
MSU now has 14 verbal commitments to their 2017 class. Hill is the second verbal commitment to Mississippi State in as many days after cornerback Tyler Williams committed on Tuesday.
