Top 2017 DT Marvin Wilson Names Top 10 Schools

All of college football, fans and coaches alike, were on pins and needles on Thursday awaiting a big announcement from Class of 2017 defensive tackle Marvin Wilson. Wilson broke down his list of nearly 30 reported offers to a Top 10 breaking hearts while giving hope to many across the country.

Wilson played his way into widely being considered the No. 1 defensive tackle in the nation with Episcopal High School in the Houston area. The listed 6’4”, 329 pound, lineman can play tackle at the next position or plug the middle in a 3-4 as he often does with Episcopal. All that talent has not gone unnoticed with teams like Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Baylor, Vanderbilt, Texas Tech, TCU, Missouri, Louisville, Houston, Georgia, and Michigan State all offering.

In a video release, Wilson named his Top 10 in alphabetical order with Florida State, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, and USC making the cut. Wilson has taken unofficial visits to LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Texas. An announcement date has not been announced nor which teams will get his five official visits should he take all five.

Wilson is showcasing his skills at the Rivals 100 Five-Star Challenge this weekend.
