Kentucky produces talented college football recruits every year and the Class of 2016 is no different with high school athletes from all across the Bluegrass State going on to play college football all over the country next season.

As expected, Kentucky and Louisville always do a great job keeping the top athletes close to home. The Kentucky Wildcats have already received commitments from Woodford County offensive lineman Drake Jackson, Paintsville Kash Daniel, Henry Clay defensive back Davonte Robinson. The Louisville Cardinals have already received commitments from Male wide receiver Keion Wakefield, DuPont Manual defensive tackle Derek Dorsey, and Trinity athlete Rodjay Burns.

There are also some top players from Kentucky like Bell County offensive Nathan Murray (Ohio), Murray defensive end Tre Hornbuckle (Duke), and Highlands quarterback Austin Hergott (Central Michigan) who decided to take their talents across state lines.

With National Signing Day a little over two weeks away, there are still many top recruits in the Bluegrass State that are still weighing all their options before making one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
