Written by Ryan Wright

Utah secured verbal commitment No. 17 on Thursday landing under the radar offensive tackle Scott Peck out of Washington.

Peck was a bright spot for Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley in 2014. The Bears posted a 3-7 record but the 6’6”, 295 pound, tackle shined through the down season earning offers from Eastern Washington, Idaho, Montana, Washington State, and Utah.

The Utes now have two offensive linemen committed to the 2016 recruiting class, Scott Tucker and Peck. The Utah coaching staff have pulled recruits from five different states with Peck being the first from Washington.
