The game speed for Mater Dei 2017 linebacker Fa’avae Fa’avae seems to be zero to 60 in no time at all. The same can be said for his quick rise up recruiting boards entering the all-too critical offseason camp circuit.

Fa’avae quickly carved a niche for himself in southern California’s Trinity League coming up with 59 tackles, 12.5 sacks (league leading), 19 tackles for a loss, a pick-six, a strip-six, and 20 quarterback hurries landing squarely on the recruiting map. Arizona State was the first to offer but since then, his stock has continued to rise with offers coming in from Boston College, Hawaii, Louisville, and on Monday, University of Nevada. As the 6’1”, 210 pound, talent continues to make the rounds, expect his offer sheet to go double-digits sooner than later.

In a Recruiting News Guru exclusive interview, I got a couple of minutes in with Fa’avae at the Nike Opening regional in Los Angeles going over his offseason plans, his recruitment status to date, and a quick overview of his Saturday visit to Arizona State.
