Video Interview with St. Anthony Duo Curtis Weaver and Logan Gamble

Written by Ryan Wright

Saint Anthony’s dynamic duo of defensive lineman Curtis Weaver and defensive end/wide receiver Logan Gamble put their talents on display on the UCLA campus on Saturday and the Long Beach players did not disappoint.

Logan, 6’5.5”, 198 pound, and Weaver, 6’4”, 265, are both in high demand by college recruiters nationwide. Weaver has offers from Nevada, San Diego State, Washington State, Wisconsin, San Jose State, and Virginia with teams like Duke, Northwestern, Boston College, Oregon, Washington, USC, Utah, and Utah State all showing interest.

On June 7, Logan released his Top 5 list after being extended nine offers early in his recruitment. His Top 5 included Arizona, Cal, Nevada, Virginia, and Washington. By June 15, the Golden Bears had landed one of their prized recruits when Gamble joined the Cal Gang.

During the Bruins 7×7 Tournament to wrap up four days of camp events I caught up with Curtis and Logan to go over their summer so far, a little bit about recruiting, and get their thoughts on the game they are looking forward to most on their 2015 high school schedule.
