Bryson Bonds has had a tremendous career so far at Fort Worth area Crowley High School as a safety. After his sophomore season, Bonds was named first team All-District and followed that up with another first team All-District selection while earning second team All-State 5A honors for his junior season. To earn these tremendous accolades, the 6’1”, 190-pound, star has racked up 103 total tackles, six fumble recoveries, five interceptions, 15 pass break-ups and four defensive touchdowns over the two-year span.

The Class of 2020 prospect currently holds 26 total offers from schools in the Big 12, Ivy League, Mountain West, and Big Ten. The list includes teams such as Kansas, Texas Tech, Minnesota, Utah State, and Louisiana Tech and out of the Ivy League, Harvard, Columbia, Pennsylvania, Princeton, and Yale.

The Class of 2020 standout helped lead Crowley to a 7-4 record in 2018 but the Eagles fell in the first round of the playoffs to Grapevine (34-14). This season, Bonds is more determined than ever to help his Eagles make a deeper run into the postseason with the goal of leaving a legacy at Crowley when his college playing career is over.

In an exclusive Recruiting News Guru interview, I sat down with Bryson to discuss his career at Crowley High School and his recruiting process.
