Interview

Colt, how did you prepare for the U.S. Army All-American Combine?

“I prepared by training for all the tests they have you do during the combine. I had been training for weeks leading up to it, working on my form and throwing with my receivers.”

Going into the combine, what goals did you set for yourself?

“My goal was to be the best out there and throw the best that I could with no incompletions.”

How did the combine go for you?

“It went really well. It was a very good experience. You get to compare yourself to other very good players to see how you stack up.”

What has the competition been like?

“I thought there was really good competition at the combine. All of the players were athletic, they are all really talented players.”

What are some of the things you have learned that will help you going forward?

“The coaches helped me with my footwork and helped me polish up some minor things. They gave me something to work on this offseason.”

A quick update on recruiting interest. Which schools are showing interest?

“I am receiving interest from Utah and Ohio State met with me at school before the break.”

What did the Ohio State coaches say to you during the meeting?

“They asked us, Gary Bryant (WR), Korey Foreman (DE), and I to go to their practice for the Rose Bowl. They wanted us to see how they practice and to check out the team.”

Colt, I’m glad the combine went well for you. Good luck with your workouts when you get back.

“Thank you.”
